HEATWAVE 2006 returns with another irresistible line-up, once again bringing hot and vibrant music to the UK at the start of winter. This time the tour brings together two young artists from either side of the same African continent – Tcheka from Cape Verde and Modeste from Madagascar. Their music is united in being distinctly African, yet strongly reflecting external influences from East and West. The two artists are also instrumentally linked as both base their style around beautiful guitar lines and vocals.
